New York City
New York City

NEW YORK, NEW YORK one of the most filmed, photographed and written about cities in the world. The icons and highlights just trip off your lips: The Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Museum of National History, Broadway, the “Museum Mile”, Times Square, the Guggenheim, Central Park, New York Stock Exchange… the list is endless making it a very interesting honeymoon city destination.

There is also a hidden side to New York that many tourists don’t take the time to delve into:

Hidden Parks and Greenery: Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park with sweeping views of the East River and Statue of Liberty, the lush Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Fire Island’s Sunken Forest amongst others. Not many know of the “High Line”, an urban park built atop an out-of-service elevated train track.

World Food: over 180 nationalities live in NYC, they say you can find your way through the neighborhoods by scent alone: Chinatown, Little Italy’s trattorias, New York-style pizza, old-world delis, taco stalls of Spanish Harlem, Koreatown, Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach… the choice is overwhelming.

Unique Boutiques: combine your shopping trip to Macy’s with a stroll through the trendy district of NoLIta (North of Little Italy) where you will find whimsical clothing shops and artful displays of fanciful dresses and chunky accessories.

The best way to appreciate New York is actually on foot, so remember to pack a good pair of walking shoes!

Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS or simply VEGAS, is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. It is an internationally renowned major resort known primarily for shopping, fine dining, gambling, night life and some of the most amazing shows. The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World.

Las Vegas was established in 1905 and is situated in Nevada where it appears like a neon image out of Nevada’s dusty deserts and mountains. It is  a popular setting for films, television programmes and music videos. The main action is found along the 7km section of Las Vegas Boulevard, more commonly known as “The Strip”. Here you will find fifteen of the world’s 25 largest hotels - the Venetian, MGM Grand, Luxor, Excalibur and Aria just to name a few…

One of Vegas’ biggest appeals is its proximity to many of America’s greatest natural wonders, most famously the Grand Canyon but also the Valley of Fire, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park and Death Valley. Other top attractions include the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon Skywalk. We easily fit in these activities for you into a tailor-made holiday.

COSTA RICA With its luxuriant rainforests, pristine white beaches, spectacular natural beauty, diverse wildlife and relaxed hospitality, Costa Rica is a destination you really need to consider. It is also the prime eco-tourism destination in Central America due to its wealth of protected areas. Over 25% of the country is protected, spread over 75 different national parks, wildlife refuges and biological reserves. There are 15 different ecosystems with dramatic changes in landscapes, climate and nature. Magnificent beaches stretch for miles along an unspoilt coastline. High on the mountains, cool and pristine cloud forests are alive with mysterious sounds and below splendid tropical rain forests are full of life.

What to see:

The Arenal volcano rises over 5,000 feet above sea level and is the most active of Costa Rica's volcanoes. With its perfect conical shape and its continuing activity, Arenal is a picture book image of a volcano. Daily ash columns, underground rumbling, glowing red lava flows and sudden explosions make Arenal a must-see.

Monteverde means green mountain and the world-famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most interesting highlights of Costa Rica. This large reserve is one of the most outstanding wildlife sanctuaries in the Americas and protects more than 400 species of birds and over 100 species of mammals

The Manuel Antonio National Park was established in 1972. Although it is the country's smallest national park, its stunning beauty and diversity are unequalled.
Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest and excellent opportunities for snorkelling. The forest is home to sloths, iguanas, rare squirrel monkeys and colourful little crabs.

What to do:

Activities are numerous: For example, you can go rain forest hiking, exploring active volcanoes, rafting jungle rivers, surfing, snorkelling, horse riding and relaxing on picture-perfect beaches.
